Anthropologie - Custom Type Design

Background:

Custom type design created for an Anthropologie Home exclusive collection of bar trays and cocktail napkins. The bespoke lettering featured in the collection hearkens to late nineteenth and early twentieth century typography, blending stylistic elements of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Featuring both upright serif letterforms and organic connected ligatures, the collection emulates the typography that might have graced bottles and match boxes on a Jazz Age bar cart.
